Injuries

We learned on Wednesday that Kim had managed to slice open her thumb on a box cutter at Farmer's Market on Tuesday. She needed 3 stitches and was told that she was lucky not to have severed a tendon.

So as not to be outdone, on Friday I managed to stub my toe while organizing the office in preparation for Michelle's party. Unfortunately, only the visible bruising was the result of the accident - my toes are usually that shape.

Recent reports suggest that all is going to be well for both Kim and I. Although, please expect me to wring as much sympathy for as long as I possibly can. That's just how I roll. ;)

Hitting the Bullseye!

By all accounts, not only did Michelle manage to hit the Bullseye with an automatic weapon at the Las Vegas Gun Range on Saturday, but we also hit the bullseye for the whole MOAB III experience.

Some quick highlights for those of you that don't want to visit the UlloaSullivan Adventures site for more details:

1) The 'I'm sorry, Sir. I can't find your reservation' welcome at Hard Rock Hotel that resulted in Michelle swiftly losing $100 on No Bust 21 before we could check in.
2) Not being able to get the drinks that Tracey and Jilly purchased across the street up to the room for the welcome party and having to resort to deceptive tactics to make it happen.
3) The Christina and Aaron Surprise
4) Purple Reign. Always Purple Reign.
5) Aaron on the dance floor at Dixie's.
5) The Gun Range - the noise of the Desert Eagle and Janie's hot cleavage problem.
6) Waving to Christina as we lapped her on the Go-Kart track.
7) Mesa Grill. Michael the Waiter at Mesa Grill. The cake at Mesa Grill.
8) Having a great time with the MOAB III Gang.

Thanks to everyone who attended - especially those that flew from the other side of the World to be there. We had a blast!

And just think - I'm still in my 30s - lots more opportunities to party the MOAB way before I'm as old as Michelle. :)

I am delighted to report that Nick and Kate are engaged.

Apparently Nick proposed to her yesterday on a snow covered mountain somewhere in Vermont while baby deer, bunnies and butterflies looked on. That may not be quite accurate, but it is how I choose to imagine it going down.

Congratulations you two. Look forward to seeing you on Friday for all manner of celebrations!

P.S. Apparently they haven't told everybody yet so please refrain from public proclamations of Congrats to them on Facebook for the time-being.

On this day 40 years ago, the one and only Michelle Eleanor Ulloa was born.

While today is her actual birthday, as per our negotiated agreement, we will be honoring her here at UlloaSullivan.com for the next 10 days.

We will begin formal celebrations this evening with dinner at The Leon's, followed by MOAB III this weekend in Vegas, and a birthday party at our place on the 12th.
