Hey Folks. Thank you to everyone that has reached out and enquired one way or another as to my whereabouts today in light of the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami. Fortunately, while I was expecting to be there this week when planning my month a couple of weeks ago, things changed such that I have spent the past 4 days in Dubai. Knowing that you all were thinking of (and worrying about me) makes me feel special.
The good news is that the people we know in Japan are all ok. The bad news is that the earthquake was massive and the aftershocks and effects - including the Tsunami - are wreaking havoc along their coastline and likely to impact others as the wave spreads across the Pacific.
Here's hoping the effects aren't too bad and that people are able to get on with their lives very, very soon.
