I couldn't quite believe my eyes this morning when I went to fill the car up with gas - petrol for our UK readers - and found that the pumps had been set with the wrong price. Instead of $3.79 per gallon it was set to $0.379 per gallon! Yep, what would normally have been a $50+ bill for filling my up my tank turned out to be only $4.99.
Michelle-economics would suggest that I should immediately go and find something to spend the other $45 on. Or take it to Vegas. For now I am happy to bask in my good fortune and tell everyone I know about it.
