For the benefit of those hard-rocking readers of ulloasullivan.com I thought I would share this snap that I took as we left Cabo Wabo last night at around midnight.
It's a pretty cool venue, with a really good covers band that play a good selection of rock songs - many of which Jim, Gary and I have performed at various times in our own musical careers - to a crowd of beer and tequila drinking patrons. Last night was a fairly tame night for me being that I was made to drink tequila - along with a few other folks - by the wife of one our product managers during our beachside opening night party at the resort. Before Cabo Wabo we went for a great mexican meal at a place called Mi Casa (of course!) in downtown Cabo San Lucas which looks like a tiny souvenir shop from the outside but which, when you walk through, opens up into an enormous semi-outside restaurant area.
Tonight is the award's gala dinner at the hotel and then tomorrow morning I'm off to do some fishing on a boat with a couple of the guys from the UK before catching my plane back to Fresno via Phoenix.
So far I've avoided the typical Englishman's sunburn, but there's always tomorrow...
