Don't tell the security guys, but this is a pic taken by Paul during Purple Rain at tonight's show.
They've clearly been practising as tonight's show was better than the one on August 3rd. He opened with Planet Earth - first time, from what I understand - which sounded great live and then straight into 1999, Take Me With U and Guitar. He also played Sshhh! tonight which was a treat.
He didn't show at the Aftershow party, but we were treated to a 90 minute jazz/funk set from the NPG with Shelby singing 'Chelsea!' intermittently throughout her portion. It was very good, but would have been better had the man himself been there.
We just got back to the hotel. I'm winding down and hoping jet lag won't keep me awake too much longer so as to avoid listening to Paul's snores. ;)
