The penultimate event of WoF was the badminton tournament. This is what Meleena had been looking forward to all weekend, I think. It was made more interesting by the onset of dusk and nightime making it increasingly challenging to even see the shuttlecock, let alone hit it.
Perhaps more fun than even the badminton itself was the sprinkler experience that we concocted for Rita, Letty, Lizz and Janie while they were relaxing and watching one of the games. Apparently, Lizz thought Letty's stomach was rumbling before realizing that in fact it was the water beginning to move through the sprinklers. While I was in the garage controlling the sprinklers themselves and couldn't see the resulting commotion I was fortunate enough to hear the screams. Too funny.
Bill and Justin eventually triumphed over Meleena and Jim for the honor winning the doubles final. Congratulations!
